Description of Setting- Most of this story takes place at Thomas Jefferson High and at Kent McFuller's house party. The high school is described as very clique-y. It has a smokers corner, where people go to smoke.  Kent's house is very big and is very close to the woods (where Sam and Juliet usually went). He has a ton of rooms and a alcohol room that Sam and the less popular girls go to on the fourth day.  She also hangs out a lot at her house but always wants to be left alone. She lives in a two story house with her 2 parents and her little sister. Another setting is Ally's house which is also very big like Kent's house. The girls usually have their sleepovers in there. She has a basement that has the yearbooks for elementary and middle school in it. That is where she figures out that Lindsay and Juliet used to be best friends.

Tagline- â€śMaybe you can afford to wait. Maybe for you there's a tomorrow. Maybe for you there's one thousand tomorrows, or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in it, roll around it, let it slide like coins through you fingers. So much time you can waste it. But for some of us there's only today. And the truth is, you never really know" (Oliver 376).
